Nigel Taylor
Chief Executive
Nigel Taylor is co-founder of Taylor Drew Productions. Nigel is a media professional with over two decades experience in broadcasting, seven of which as Managing Director and over five years at International level. Nigel is a well know industry figure, with extensive knowledge of the children’s television market.
At Taylor Drew Productions, as CEO, Nigel is overall charge of a talented team of senior management who control the creative, technical and financial direction of the company. Nigel’s responsibilities will include overseeing the National and International television distribution, home entertainment, licenses, production and brand development.
Simon Drew
Managing Director
Simon Drew is co-founder of Taylor Drew Productions and is building on over twenty years experience in financial services, and has spent the last five years focusing entirely on raising funds for TV producers in the animation industry. He has also worked closely to establish products in the market place and will head up the licensing and merchandising division for all brands. Simon will also be responsible for raising investment for Taylor Drew’s own productions and co-productions and implementing policy.
Mark Bevan
Finance Director
Mark qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG, Birmingham office and left to form his own practice in the eighties. In the nineties Mark moved into industry and successively became FD and for the last five years MD of print management group Etrinsic PLC. Since 2000, Mark has been providing financial management services to SME’s, wherever situated. He brings considerable experience to the team.
Dave Garbett
Animation Director
Dave joins Taylor Drew Productions with over 15 years of industry experience and over the last 5 years was responsible for animating and directing all productions for Inspire GLG, as well as many CGI productions for Eidos and Lego. Dave will be responsible for heading up the production team and managing the animation team, encompassing all aspects of production, concept designs, modeling, lighting, animation and post-production.
Amy Gershfield
Director of Global Brands & Executive Producer
Amy joined Taylor Drew Productions from GMTV with a specialised career in children’s
programming. As Director of Global Brands and Executive Producer, Amy is responsible
for overseeing TV distribution and co-productions alongside her role working on the
branding with the company’s licensing and merchandising divisions, to ensure Taylor
Drew - owned and distributed brands finds the optimum partners across the board in
the UK and across the globe.
Our in-house Animation Team is comprised of industry veterans with many years experience, working in a variety of environments from Bollywood to the BBC.
